Never My Love
You ask me if there'll come a time
When I grow tired of you
Never my love
Never my love
You wonder if this heart of mine
Will lose its desire fore you
Never my love
Never my love
What makes you think love will end
When you know that my whole life depends
On you (On you)
Never my love
Never my love
You say you fear I'll change my mind
And I won't require you
Never my love
Never my love
How can you think love will end
When I've asked you to spend your whole life
With me (with me, with me)

This whole post contains vintage items the above song has always been a favourite and I think it fits the bill. The song was by The Association in 1967.
With Valentines day coming up these vintage black evening purses would be great for an evening out. The fabric in the background is a piece of vintage fabric. I found all the purses at local secondhand stores.
These vintage patterns look like at one time someone might have made one and worn it out for a Valentines date. The background fabric is also vintage. Both the patterns and fabric are from secondhand stores.
This dip bowl is part of a vintage chip and dip bowl set. The cherry blossom design made me think of Valentines day.
These two mugs I think look like something from the 1970's. These were made by Royal Alma in Staffordshire England. The fabric is vintage I found it in a secondhand store in Kamloops, British Columbia Canada.

ReplyDeleteWhat a good subject for this week and many of your vintage images brought back some good memories--the patterns reminding me of how excited I would get making a new wardrobe for each season. And how nice that many young women especially are enjoying some of these 2nd time around fashions.
