A Look At Glass

I've always liked stained glass windows with the sun shining through it.  I think this is what started me collecting glass.



This bowl was my grandmothers which she gave me many years ago.
It's a ruby berry bowl called Thumbprint.


This blue pitcher and butter dish are carnival glass with the 
Thistle pattern made by Moser.


These paperweights are flea market finds.

    I love the Ruby Thumbprint, it is my favourite of all coloured glass.

    Hello! I do too! I have loved the treasures I've been able to collect. I have attended the Depression Glass show held in the Atlanta area a few times - it is held in a gym like facility with balcony overlooking - to look down at all the vendors you'd see a rainbow of gorgeous colors of glass! I appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,

    Oh girl you know how to grab my attention. I have been collecting red glass ware for over 3 years now. Recently I bought a set of salad plates, glasses and cups of bubble glass at an estate sale to add to my collection. I love granny's bowl. What a wonderful heirloom. The blue dishes are gorgeous also, but just love that red! Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup. Now a new follower.
