Clarice Cliff

Clarice Cliff was a industrial artist in the potteries of England her work dates from 1922 to 1963.  Her body of work is incredible.  I love her wilder designs but have had little luck finding any in British Columbia.  We did find the following plate at the flea market.

                                         Confederation Series Canada
                                         Royal Stafford Ceramics
                                         Burslem England
                                         Montreal circa 1760

I also have the following books on her work:

Taking Tea With Clarice Cliff
A Celebration Of Her Art Deco Teaware
By Leonard Griffin
Photography by Michael Slaney and Leonard Griffin
Published by Pavilion Books Limited
1996 Great Britain

Clarice Cliff For Collectors
By Greg Slater
First published in the United Kingdom in 2009
By Thames And Hudson Ltd.

If your into dishes and have not heard of Clarice Cliff a good place to view her work is on eBay in the UK.
