Yesterday I felt like I had stepped back in time I was heading into Fort Langley, British Columbia and I was following some vintage cars down the tree lined main street they were heading for a car show. It was a great way to begin a morning it brought good memories of my dad to mind he was always into cars and belonged to a vintage car club.
This is the only kind of vintage car I have is in my toy collection I just added this one. My dad would have loved one only in the real type he could have driven.
I had to also add this chip and dip bowl set to my collection I had none till now in this style.
These turquoise highball glasses couldn't get in my basket fast enough after I spotted them.
This paperweight I also had to add to one of my many collections it was made in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I found this coffee jar and the small metal scoop on the same day I found this mug a couple of days later.
These flowers are part of one of my barrels.
I believe this picture was taken at a I believe this picture was taken at a fairground. I choose to share it as all the local fairs will soon be starting.

Pottery, Glass And Paper
Yet again I'm all over the place I decided to share a bit of this and that.
This vase found at a secondhand store was made by Royal Haeger Potteries located in the United States.
I picked up this dish I wasn't sure who the maker was and was surprised to see Corning Ware on the bottom. The only name for the pattern I could find called it Avocado Corning Ware.
My boyfriend found this paperweight at a garage sale and brought it home for me.
This Anne Tainter postcard is one of many I picked up at the secondhand store I'll be sharing more of them in the next while. Boy can I relate to this thought.
I picked up this casserole dish I think it may be English Pyrex but I do not know for sure.
These items I photographed in Fort Langley, British Columbia around the outside of the Village Antique Mall.
For once I can say I know something about this picture it's of my grandfather as a child with his father my great grandfather it was taken in a rock quarry.

Sure Buy / Not A Sure Buy
In this post I have items that I knew for sure I had to come home with me but also there are items that I'm still trying to figure out why I walked out of the store with them.
This paperweight was a given, the moment I saw it I knew it had a place in my collection.
These mugs were made in Japan and are the item I'm not sure why I brought them home with me. I still haven't decided if I like them or not.
I can remember my mom having hot pads like these ones. These are not quite my style yet somehow they made it into my shopping bag and came home with me.
These flowers and plant pictures are from around my yard.
This picture is from my boyfriend's late mother's albums. It may have been taken in Germany sometime around 1900's to before World War 1.

All Over The Place
This post is an interesting mix I think I'm all over the place so lets get on with the trip.
I've been looking for the perfect vase for my second floating shelf this white one is it.
This is my first floating shelf which I posted in one of my first post I ever did.
This tray and cup set I found at a local secondhand store. These are totally my cousins style and are now part of his household.
I found this paperweight at the local Salvation Army.
I've added this leather purse to my collection after winning it in a silent auction. I hardly ever walk away from one when I find it.
From The Family Collection:
I have in the past said items I've found reminded me of things that I would have found in my grandparents cabin so I thought I would post a picture of the cabin. Yes pink was my grandmothers favorite color. I miss this cabin but my memories of it are all good.
This picture was taken at my friend Joy's booth at Village Antiques Mall in Fort Langley, British Columbia. You can see more on the mall at her blog a Vintage Green. The items in this picture are something you would have found in my grandparents cabin.
