This metal flower frog is the first metal one I've found, all my other ones are in glass. It was a flea market find.
On our rounds of garage sales I found this green egg basket. It's a little different then my other two that I've had since moving out of my parents place many years ago. These baskets always seem to make the move with me. They're great for holding things in the basement. I like hanging them from the rafters.

WoW ! Thanks for the feature Kelly@The Copper Roof
Love the baskets! Great mug holder.
ReplyDeleteGreat metal treasures. The flower frog is great, these are hard to find.

I remember a cup holder tree like that when I was a kid. My parents hung green cups off of it! Is this one orange or red? It looks pretty the way it is in the picture. I agree that the frogs are very hard to find. And I love the egg basket, I would use it to gather my eggs from my hens!

You really found some great vintage finds! Love that mug rack and while I like the orange I think painting it would be pretty also. The frog is very cool...I agree hard to find!
ReplyDeleteWonderful egg baskets!
ReplyDeleteI have the twin to that orange cup holder! Too funny! I love all things metal...great eye candy!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds!

Love metal finds too! That flower frog is old..it is a keeper! And, those 70's mug racks are too keen, but they'd be groovy in red!
ReplyDeleteI love the mug holder. I say paint it whatever color you like! Red is always a favorite of mine. :)
ReplyDeleteGood work on the egg basket. They have gotten expensive around where we live (Kansas City, MO). However, I did score one half off at Hobby Lobby for around $10. They are sure handy for lots of things.
I really like all your finds. I am on the hunt for some flower frogs myself and they scarce! And you're right. The egg baskets can be used for so many things! Loved seeing your treasures.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds, I love the flower frog and the baskets!

ReplyDeleteHi Denise--I'm visiting from Throwback Thursday :) I love all your finds. I like red accents in the kitchen, so I'd probably paint the mug rack. Love the flower frog--it's green and it's metal, that's all ya gotta say! I'd bring those other egg baskets right out of the basement and do something wonderful with them--magazines, yarn, wood, something! They should be seen, don't you think? Blessings, Diana
