Time Where Are You?

Time is flying by all around me and I'm not keeping up.  I have been letting things slide to get other things done.  I'm hoping to get back on track soon.  I'm lucky if I make it to one second hand store a week these days.  I've decided to start posting every other week from now on.

My fiancé found a Life Magazine from April 20, 1955 yesterday at the flea market and I found this double paged Pyrex ad in it.

My fiancé also found the blue Fire King mugs at the flea market yesterday which I've added to my collection.  On my one trip to the second hand store this past week I found the coffee and tea tins.  The Corning Ware coffee carafe I found quite a few weeks back.

This wedding dress was in a antique mall I thought I would share it with you.

The two girls in this picture are I believe my fiancé's mother and sister.  It looks like it might have been taken on a lovely Spring or Summer day.

Thank you for taking the time to visit.

  1. I haven't gone thrifting in so long I've forgotten what it is! Love that picture -- the younger girl reminds me of little girls today loving to wear their tutus!

  8. gorgeous blue fireking mugs! your fiancee has a great eye! and loving the old picture too, it's interesting to realize these kind of pictures were taken of people's mums and relatives, they are not just those fascinating but random kind of vintage of pictures... i hope that makes sense :)
