This clock has been in my family for some time I'm not sure if it's been passed down in the family or my dad found it in his travels. Its a favorite of mind. The following is the information on the clock face:
Henry Birks And Sons. Ltd.
Seth Thomas
Made in the U.S.A.
These pictures in the collage are from a few years ago from my last Halloween party. Most of my stuff is gone a friend's son and daughter-in-law do a big Halloween thing and are putting it to good use.
Halloween is about candy so I thought this Life Saver ad from the National Geographic Magazine would fit the Halloween theme.
This olive green Pyrex casserole dish is the Verde pattern.
This small Pyrex bowl is the Butterfly Gold pattern.
This bright green round Pyrex casserole dish is missing it's lid and not in perfect condition. I've seen this dish a few times but it's always been in rough shape so I decided to get this one.

That ghostly blue hue on the skull just gives me the creeps!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the Life Savers ad! And you can never go wrong with vintage Pyrex. One of my favorite sets of bowls is an old Pyrex set :) Thanks for sharing! I found you via DIY Home Sweet Home
ReplyDeleteFirst time I ever seen that bright green Pyrex was the week before last at Value Village here in Toronto. I had never seen it before. Reached over some woman to grab it while saying "excuse me" as she was peeling a sticker off a casserole to see the brand & she was like, "it's in bad condition... I already looked." Now that I know I can almost completely remove untensil marks, I could have bought it! But maybe it might have damaged the shine.. will wait for a better piece. Only come across one other collector in a thrift before her.

I think the kelly green dish is one of the brightest Pyrex colors - I found it one day at Value Village, with lid - I grabbed it up really quick!
